Extra Virgin Olive Oil Sierra Cazorla Can 5l

Denomination

Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Denomination of Origin Royal Variety of Sierra de Cazorla

Description
Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Protected Denomination of Origin, Royal variety of Sierra de Cazorla. A superior category AOVE obtained directly from olives and only by mechanical procedures, being the olives, the collection, the transport to factory and the perfect grinding, without damages and everything in less than 24 hours. It has a maximum acidity (oleic acid) of 0.4 °.
The Royal variety is the native variety of the Sierra de Cazorla (Jaén), although the Picual variety has displaced it year after year, representing little more than 5% of the olive grove area of the DO, because its collection is more Difficult, and requires more labor, which makes the final product more expensive. The Royal variety is found almost exclusively in the municipalities of Cazorla, La Iruela and Quesada, all in the province of Jaén. Of red color, its main characteristic organoléptica is that the oil that offers is of fresh fruity and sweet aroma. Its taste is soft and not aggressive to the palate. In the nose it presents an intense mature fruity with hues of ripe fig. The Royal variety is a variety of high and constant production, although the olives provide low content in oil, in contrast it is a oil of high quality. This variety is the only 'Royal' in the world with Denomination of Origin, "Extra virgin olive oil DOP Sierra de Cazorla".

Tasting Notes
Oil that presents a color with a greenery pulling yellowish, an intense fruity aroma fresh evoking green grass and a pleasant smell of almond. In flavor it is fresh fruit (apples, almonds and figs), with a slight bitterness and soft in its itch.
Origin and geographic area
Since the 60s, the Guirado Noguera family has been making a rigorous selection and packaging of one of the best Extra Virgin oils from the production area of the Sierra de Cazorla natural park. Lands rich in springs, which irrigate the olive groves that run through the Guadalentín valley. The oils commercialized by Aceites Guirado Noguera S.L. Are of the Picual and Royal variety of Cazorla. The oil producing area is located in the southeast of the province of Jaén, a natural enclave of enormous ecological value, next to the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park. Pozo Alcón is the first village in the region that includes the Denomination of origin Sierra de Cazorla, in which Aceites Guirado Noguera is attached. The Denomination of Origin extends by the municipal terms of Cazorla, Chilluevar, Hinojares, Huesa, Iruela, Peal de Becerro, Pozo Alcón, Quesada and Santo Tomé.

Tips on conservation of AOVE
- It is recommended to close it properly to avoid contact with the air, and store it away from places with intense odor, as olive oil very easily absorbs strange odors. It is very important to preserve it from direct sunlight, either solar or artificial and avoid heat and environments with high humidity.
- To store the oil at home the best containers are glass, especially if they are dark, containers made of brass waterproof or stainless steel. - Remember that the date of preferential consumption of olive oil is one year, from the date of packaging.
- Containers containing previously old oil seats must not be filled with new oils, not cleaned before, as it would be fanned.
