Gourmet Italian risotto made with Carnaroli rice and dried artichoke. Part of the “Ready to cook” line by Tenuta Margherita, a rice producer based in Desana, Piedmont, with over a century of tradition since 1904. A natural, vegetarian-friendly option for quick and flavourful meals.
Ingredients and composition
Carnaroli rice, vegetable seasoning without glutamate (salt, potato starch, yeast extract, maltodextrin), dehydrated vegetables (onion, carrot, celery, parsley), sunflower oil, spices, natural flavourings and dried artichoke.
Production process
The rice is cultivated and selected by Tenuta Margherita and combined with freeze-dried artichokes and dehydrated vegetables. The mix is packaged in a protected atmosphere to preserve freshness and flavour without the need for artificial preservatives.
Preparation method
- Sauté the contents with 1 tablespoon of oil for 1 minute.
- Add dry white wine and allow it to evaporate.
- Add 650 ml of hot water or vegetable broth, stirring and cooking for 17–18 minutes.
- Finish with a knob of butter and grated Parmesan if desired.

- Texture: creamy, with al dente rice thanks to the Carnaroli variety.
- Flavour: delicate artichoke taste with balanced vegetal notes.
Pairing and serving suggestions
Ideal as a starter or light main dish. Pair with dry white wine or a young rosé. For a fresh touch, drizzle with Aubocassa extra virgin olive oil or add a few fresh herb leaves.
